Overview

Wildfires are a major concern in many states, and despite causing millions of dollars a year in damage, most states still have outdated fire ban systems. This application automates the fire ban system and makes updating and changing fire bans much easier and less time consuming. These changes are then mapped to a location, and this data can be used to notify and educate residents and visitors of the State on current fire ban statuses, information, and more. Each time a new update is created, the system saves that request, creating a rich data pool, which can be used for further analysis of fire ban dynamics over time and location.
