Fire Risk Assessment
Real-time updates for the public and firefighters that highlight current and future high risk fire areas
Using historical data from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), Google Maps, Waze we can find early warning signs of potential fires to highlight high risk fire areas. To find these warning signs we will run ML models on past weather attributes (ex. temperature, precipitation, wind speed, etc.) and travel patterns (ex. people heading to risky fire starting areas like campgrounds) to highlight key attributes/patterns that best determine fire risk. We will apply this model to real-time streaming data from the same sources to determine high risk areas. This information will be available in two interfaces. One for the public which alerts travelers that they are heading to a high fire risk area and suggest other similar areas that have a lower fire risk. Another to be used by firefighters as a way to allocate manpower and resources to the appropriate areas before a fire starts.

This app was built for the Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology, specifically the Digital Trunk Radio System (DTRS). The app is used by the DTRS team thus requiring a user sign in, meaning only users that are granted access to the app can use it. Using an interactive dashboard and related views, app users are able to record, view, update, and search a log of daily activity and alarms.

App that manages inspection sites and tracks necessary tasks for safety inspection test
With this app, you are able to go step by step through a fire inspection and view each steps specific details in relation to a specific inspection site. By viewing each inspection site you are also able to upload images, record any relevant notes, and sign off on each completed inspection. The app also includes an interactive map showing you where each inspection site is as well as a performance dashboard so managers can keep track of successful and unsuccessful inspections. Once an inspection is complete, the app will also email a report to the relevant users.

This app was built for the Colorado Department of Human Services - Supplemental Food Program to be used by the agency itself and also the individual contractors that they work with. The app is used to compile and manage the caseload (meals) served by each food bank and the inventory of each food product on a month to month basis. The app also provides metrics for each contractor so the state agency can monitor the performance of each contractor and determine if a contractor is underperfoming.

This app allows police officers to submit notices when a young student is involved in an incident. This notification then gets sent to the student's school, notifying the school that they need to "handle the student with care".

AppSheet app where Public Safety administrators can view outstanding building permits and approve or deny them based on the permit applications.
With this app, an administrator within the Department of Public Safety is able to see building permits that have been applied for. They can view the details of each permit's applications and are able to approve or deny the permit. Once the permit is approved or denied, an email report will be sent to the permit owner notifying them of the decision. Users are also able to look at specific details of each site and view an interactive map highlighting each site's location.
